Board of Trustees

Four Village Trustees, together with the Village President, comprise the Village Board of Trustees, commonly referred to as the Village Board. The Village President is a voting member of the Village Board and serves as its presiding officer. Both the Trustees and the President are elected at-large to a two-year term.

The Village Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. All meetings are public unless otherwise noted.

The Board of Appeals hears requests for special exceptions or variances to the Village Zoning Ordinance. The board is a quasi-judicial body that decides appeals on decisions of administrative officials of the Village. Sec. 62.23 Wisconsin Statutes. The Board of Appeals consists of five voting members. Five citizen representatives make up the voting body. Each citizen representative serves a 3 year term. Two citizen representatives are appointed as alternates.

The Board of Appeals meets as necessary.

The Board of Review is a quasi-judicial body that hears and decides appeals of property assessments. The Board of Review consists of six voting members. The Village Board, by ordinance, specifies the manner of appointment for three-year terms. The Village President, Village Clerk and four citizen representatives make up the voting body. Board of Review shall have the duties and powers prescribed by Wis. Stats. s. 70.47. Meetings are scheduled as necessary.

The Plan Commission is composed of seven (7) members as follows: The Village President, a Trustee, and five citizens. Each term is for two years. The Plan Commission meets when needed on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of the Park & Rec Committee is to acquire, govern, manage, control, improve and care for all public parks, parkways, conservancy areas and recreation programs in the Village.

The committee is composed of two trustees and three citizens, all of whom may vote. The committee meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
